You will need a valid U.S. Passport with at least two blank ​pages to travel to Cancun, Mexico. It is recommended to ​arrive at the airport two hours before your flight leaves.

It’s always a good idea to pack toiletries, medications, and ​a change of clothes in a carry-on bag in case the delivery

of your luggage is delayed. If you carry on any liquids, ​airline regulations require that they be limited to 3 oz. each ​and placed in a quart-sized plastic bag.

Airport transfers will be provided on your arrival date as ​long you are going to The Grand at Moon Palace. If you

are arriving early and staying elsewhere you will need to ​arrange your own arrival transportation to where you are ​staying and to get to the Grand at Moon Palace on the day ​you are checking in there. The transfers are being provided ​by Amstar.

Arrival Process

Terminal 3 (T3) Arrivals: After the immigration check

point, keep walking to pick up your luggage and clear ​customs. Once finalizing this process, walk straight to the ​second glass door where you will find the “meet and greet ​area.” Amstar staff in blue shirts will be holding a sign with ​the AIL/NIL logo.

Terminal 4 (T4) Arrivals: After immigration and customs, ​please keep walking and take the left corridor that says ​“Shuttles & Tour Operators.” Amstar staff in blue shirts will ​be holding a sign with the AIL/NIL logo.

Hotel check-in is not until 3:00pm If your room is not ready, ​you may still enjoy the hotel amenities while you wait. You ​may store your luggage with the concierge, so be sure

to take what you need from your luggage while you are ​waiting for your room to be ready.

The Grand at Moon Palace is an all-inclusive resort. All ​meals, beverages, transportation, and hotel room are

taken care of for you and your included guest. As a

qualifier, you will be responsible for hotel incidentals which ​include, but are not limited to, telephone charges, on- ​demand movies, laundry services and any other incidentals ​not covered by the all-inclusive package.

During the registration process, the hotel won’t ask for

a credit card unless you want to book a spa service, golf

or upgraded options at the restaurants such as bottles

of wine or special cuts in their steak house - then you will ​need to leave a credit card at the main front desk anytime ​24/7. This is an initial hold of $10.00. At check out, you can ​decide to pay with the same credit card, a different card, ​or use cash and release that hold.

There will be a desk set up at check-in where you can ​make restaurant, golf and spa reservations. You can also ​make these on the Palace Resort App. Please note the ​following restaurants have a dress code for dinner: Habibi, ​Le Chateau, Cielito Lindo y Querido, La Cantina, Jade, JC ​Steakhouse, Cusco (at dinner only.)

Please wear long pants/tailored shorts, collared shirt, or ​polo shirt. No swim suits, sleeveless shirts, water shoes or ​bare feet are allowed.

The weather in Cancun, Mexico, is generally warm and ​sunny. Average temperatures in May are between 75° and ​89° Fahrenheit. Be sure to bring sunscreen and sunglasses!

If there is a delay to your originally scheduled flight’s

arrival time in Cancun, there is no need to contact us. Our ​transportation provider, Amstar, will track all flights and will ​update your pickup time accordingly.

If, for some reason, you are rebooked on a new flight, please ​send an email to travelrequests@globe.life with your updated ​flight information so we may inform Amstar of the change.

We encourage you to pay the new tourist tax required to ​visit Cancun before your departure. The tax is 224 Pesos ​(approx. $11.27) and must be paid by anyone five years of ​age and older. A credit of $12.50 will be credited to your ​room for solo qualifiers and $25.00 for qualifiers with a ​guest. Go to www.visitax.gob.mx to pay or visit the app for ​more information.
